Ferns wherever you look
View from Otari Wilton's Bush, at Karori and the wind turbine generator, barely visible on top of the distant hills

Looking west from Otari Wilton, in the direction of Makara Beach. Hills and farmland like this stretches to the west coast.

Rock wall on one side, steep slopes on another, and this cute springtime scene right on our path. We resorted to plan B: climb up rocks, climb over fence, climb down back on path.

Our bovine path-blocking friends still busy blocking the path, while we carefully clamber our way around them. Question for the audience: why are the calves white and the cows black?
