Banks Peninsula

In the morning we go tramping near Akaroa. There's a nice walk to a place called Nikau Palm gully that takes us about three and a half hours to complete. The place is amazing.
Then we head south west. We drive on boring, long and ruler straight roads towards the hills near Peel Forest, north of Geraldine. Hills, rain, lots of birds, a beautiful waterfall. The place is amazing.
