Tramping on a river of ice
We join a group for a day of tramping on Fox Glacier. Our guide Dennis leads us over the big blocks of ice, cutting out steps as we go. Quite spectacular. Not much to tell really, just see the photos...
After our icy adventure, we drive a short distance to a place called Okarito Lagoon. It's a very nice place, but it's raining so hard that we didn't take out our camera.
