Kayaking
paddling about in Abel Tasman National Park
We spend a day kayaking in Abel Tasman National Park. Lots of seals - including baby seals! - fish and birds, it's beautiful. Our guide Claire keeps excusing herself for the rainy weather, but by now we're used to the West Coast climate, so a bit of rain doesn't bother us at all. No worries mate!
At the end of the day, we take a swim, much to the amazement of Claire and other onlookers, as they think the water's too cold. Crazy Kiwis, we think. Crazy Dutchies, they shout.
