I get a nice view as my birthday present
We're leaving the South Island and go to Wellington. But first, I get my birthday present, a stunning view over Mahau, in Malborough Sounds.
After spending the afternoon taking it easy in Malborough Sounds, we board the ferry to Wellington. We meet a very friendly Maori guy, who has been touring the South Island with a couple of friends on their Harley Davidsons. He's a very interesting character, and we keep bumping into him on the three hour journey. He shares lots of interesting stories with us and we have a nice time.
We reach Wellington at sunset and are greeted by Dan's parents who take us to their lovely house overlooking Wellington's city centre.
